1. Install the SpeedReadr extension
2. Just highlight the text you want to read
3. Click the SpeedReadr icon (by the address bar) and let the magic begin :-)
4. You can easily configure the Words/Minute ratio, color and text size from the "options" page of the extension (under your chrome://extensions page).

Nice idea. I think that showing only one word at a time caused me to loose context. maybe you can show a few words/sentence? Good luck!
