Reviews of upromise extension:
The notifications are awesome because there may be some stores that I was not aware of linked to Upromise. Reading some of the reviews, my concern is that if the site although activated, will Upromise provide credit????
It only works about 50% of the time. even if the banner says that it is active, it doesn't mean that you will be credited properly. i always have to go back and check every single purchase. constantly sending emails for missed rewards. its frustrating.
I like that the banner lets you know you are shopping at a store that offers Upromise credit. However, it is annoying that the banner keeps flashing at the the top of the screen, and sometimes it never indicates that the bonus is "Activated". It is unclear if you still have to go to Upromise, log in, and then start shopping again. I don't trust that I will actually receive the credit for my purchase, as I do not always receive an email notification after shopping. I've had other issues with the Upromise website for grocery and dining as well. But for the most part, Upromise is an excellent advantage, and I appreciate being able to save for my grandchildren's education.
