What’s new in version 0.2.1?
Linetef intention is to allow users to quickly add guide lines to either check if two elements are aligned, measure elements or check the distance between them.
Features:
- Create guides in the screen in order to measure elements (both horizontal and vertical guides).
- See the distances between elements (or measures) in pixels or percentage mode.
- See the viewport size (width x height).
- Select the color of the created guides.
- Choose the position of the rulers (top/bottom and left/right of the screen).
- Show/hide the whole extension.
- Show/hide the distances between elements (useful if you just want to see if some elements are aligned).
- Show/hide the viewport size

Reviews of linetef:
This is the best measurement extension I've found so far. Dragging the guide lines from the edges is much less fiddly than trying to click in the right place. Very easy to get an accurate measurement. Lots of options to get a good readout. Enabling the extension by changing the "show extension" option makes me worry that it'll always be on, just not visible, and therefore might affect performance. So far it's a great extension though!
This is amazing, simple to use and just what I need
This tool is very helpful for testing UI of any website. Simple and it doesn't take much space or block the page. The only thing I found missing is that the scale can't be closed without disabling the extension. Please add this feature and the app will be of 5 stars.
