If the video already has subtitles in both languages, you cannot choose to display the originally added one. It insists on translating. It seems like a simple feature to add.
its great but i noticed that for chinese videos that already have subtitles in both engligh and chinese, that the option available to click the default available chinese subtitles is not there. It is mahcines translating the engligh subtitles into chinese but i want the chinese sutibtitles in the video. Its probably because in the default languages listed to choose, you have Chinese listed as Chinese (simplified) and Chinese (traditional) and the chinese video has its manually translated sutbtitles listed as Chinese (chinese). This is the best extension for learning a language. I can finally run two captions at once. It works perfectly and integrates itself into the YouTube UI so well that you'd think it was build by YouTube themselves.
