Sort of sad that I need a separate extension to do this but get's the job done F CHROME'S DEFAULT NEW TAB THAT HAS ELEMENTS THAT CANNOT BE BLOCKED
Great extension, tried it in Edge and it works but Edge keeps nagging about a changed new tab or simply disabling the extension. They really think people will use Bing if they force it on their new tab ??? Most searched word on Bing: Google, like 98% of searches on bing are "google".
Highly recommended for Brave users - gets rid of its awful 'new tab' screen. Thanks very much!
