It works for me, blocks Hasan's purple ad screen. Edit: As of November 8, 2022 this extension no longer blocks ads on Twitch. Twitch has finally caught on it seems.

Twitch finally broke it. It doesn't work anymore. This just started today. I'm getting the purple screen again.
Works for me. I was going insane with Twitch blue screen. Now it's gone.

Small, simple, does what it's supposed to do as far as I can tell! Only issue, Twitch can detect it and periodically shows you a 30-sec frame asking you to switch to Twitch.tv as you have an extension that makes it look like you're viewing from somewhere else.

Sometimes it works great, other times I get the purple screen. I just uninstall and reinstall every so often and it's been great.

Used to work but Twitch was quick to "fix it" and the dev just never came back to fix it. Thankfully there's functional ones still out there (as of writing.)

This was working... 20 minutes ago, now got the dreadful Purple screen telling me to about third party blocking apps and that it will ruin MY Twitch experience? Yeah.. putting in ads in the middle of the dang stream is really making it a great experience. Please up date!!!

Was ok whilst it worked, I guess twitch won the battle, currently every 30 seconds I get a message from twitch telling me to ditch adblocker, if I disable this extension I get ads every 5 minutes instead which ironically are now the lesser evil. Dont understand why streamers are not leaving en masse.
Was working... now refreshes my stream a billion times before it randomly stops. Still get purple screen.

I only get the purple message like twice a day after reinstalling. but then again you can just wait for a few seconds for it to disappear, much better than watching their stupid ads anyway

v2.1.0 no longer working as of late Dec 2020. I don't know if it's possible to fix it, but it hasn't been updated as of Jan. 1 2021 and no longer does what it's supposed to do so I cannot recommend this.
Does not work. NOT recommended at all. DEVELOPER VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DOES NOT RESPOND TO ISSUES (SEE RECENT!). IGNORE AT ALL COST AND SIMPLY USE THE OTHER EXTENSION.

It used to work well, but as of recently you get the purple screen and it doesn't work anymore. Hopefully there is an update/fix soon.

Did not work for very long at all twitch has caught on to this removing it and adding it over an over is a pain and NOT worth the continued use of this at all. DO NOT use works half assed example; when you get the purple screen you can let it sit there and the stream will continue but you will have built up delay and refreshing will just do the process all over again reduce the quality of the stream then put it back on source and it seems to continue to block but I refuse to use that as a work around that is just garbage.

Don't blame author of this great extension for not working currently. Blame greed of Twitch and Jeff Bezos.

Was great while it lasted. The time of no ads was a glorious time, indeed. Hope we find a way to get it back soon.
Twitch is constantly trying to undermine this so its a tug o war and doesn't work 100% of the time, but its far better than nothing.

i don't think its working anymore because its just showing a twitch pop up saying it detected a ad blocker or some sort when a ad comes up.
I liked the addon but now for some reason twitch detects this addon and adds a PSA saying I have an addon to block ads plaese fix this.

Twitch realized I had this extension running and blocked me from watching until I disabled right now.

It still works if you get the purple screen just stop the extension reload page then enable extension adds will stop again. About 1-2 hours later purple screen will appear just repeat.
It was working before, but unfortunately Jeff bezos started blocking these as well.

dec 19 2020 doesn't work..twitch got through it...it was fun while it lasted
App still working as intended technically. Twitch decided to detect for it and now blocks the stream if the extension is running unfortunately.

Doesn't work anymore as of 12/19/20. Still blocks ad but also doesn't show streamer. Still gonna leave this ad blocking on to spite twitch ad money tho.
Excellent until today. Needs an update. Streams are showing purple "ad" screens now, even after a reload and cookie reset. Thanks!
