I like that it's free but I cannot understand the UI. All I want is to block myself from certain sites from 10am-7pm weekdays, and not on weekends, but I can't seem to get it to do what I want.

Fantastic extension. UI is a little basic, but unlike all the fancier blocking extensions, this one actually works, and doesn't require some expensive monthly subscription just to enforce a block list. It actually has a lot more options than the other extensions.

Works as advertised, no issues. A little tricky to figure out, but once you've got the hang of it it's a great productivity tool.

this is exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much. All I wanted is to password protect any webpage. I will set such hard and lengthy password so that I will only unlock if only when it is really important.

Confusing options UI and no turn off prompt option

I really like this extension, would've loved a way to hide the removal button so that teenagers can't find it; that or a password that the locker can use. Otherwise, quite happy...

Wrks Great. My only problem is that any ads sites I added are still opening windows/tabs. While the extension stops them from loading it doesn't auto-close the new windows or new tabs, it instead redirects it to a page that informs you it was blocked. I still have to auto close them. Hopefully the Devs will provide a change to this.

Its toolbar icons remains greyed, giving impression that it is inactive. there is no left click menu on the icon, right click has usual options, but no way to block current time. There are lots of Options that are confusing while it does not do basic work of blocking current site simply. Removing it.

at first it was fine but then I CANT TURN IT OFF the only way to turn it off is deleting it but it was fine tho-

I can easily delete the extension from google chrome even with the password protection is on. so I hope the developers to fix this issue. I liked it though.

One of Best till now, promising addons as far i see .but To add unblock site its quite hard but as developer it can be done Blocked site has different address then genuine address , unblocking site cant work while on address bar is different and reading is different, but some piece of code can change that ex: blocking google.com if blocked site in address bar is shown as : chrome-extension://lebiggkccaodkkmjeimmbogdedcpnmfb/data/blocked/index.html?*url=google.com* Then unblock site on click will remove lines in memo after url= This will make complete this extension Reverting from 5 to 1 star after i ws unable to remove site from blocked one. Uninstalling

While this extension works well, there is one clear problem with it. You can easily turn off the extension in Chrome, evem without requiring the master password. Other than that works without any problems

Doesn't work for chrome web store

For me, it does not work. It says 'This tab doesn't have a valid URL.' and 'The extensions gallery cannot be scripted.'

This is a great extension (if a little tough to use) that allows you to add a master password to all sites that you want to block. There are other services that do this in the chrome web store, but none of the ones I could find were free, or if they were they just didn't work. This one works!

it works a lot better than others, it even blocks the related sites to what you blocked so you don't have to spend hours blocking every related links!

Works well except sometime it doesnt automatically close so I set a 1 sec timer, fix it if you can

Best for blocking websites in mass scale. Only problem is you cant set a password in the extensions tab. Have to use Blocksite for that.

i worck very fine but you cant put a password on it

I've used it for years, first time I got hit with a 'ransomware' bug it saved me from the annoying audio.

There's no point setting a master password and blocking websites when the user can just go into the settings and remove the blocked website.

Is there any way to stop this Block Site browser extension's own pop up from always popping up to tell me which of the many sites they've blocked? This makes your "Block Site" extension pointless....just another pop up i dont want or need

It was very effective and the settings page may be confusing, now you need a password to unblock it! that's great because some people can easily figure out and just click the unblock button. Now this website blocker has a password only I know which is the greatest thing in THE WORLD

Something is wrong. I can't rightclick a link and block it. I have to actually enter the site then choose "block this domain", but by that time it's too late. Got caught up in a spam site trying to install all kinds of stuff.

My best choic blocking website extension. I use this block site extension on opera and vivaldi browsers safely.

it will work better if only u made it irremovable from the extension if we dont have the master password. else than this,works like a charm.

This is the best site blocker. No stupid distracting graphics, very simple operation.

works really great at annoying site that keep redirecting, and the author is very responsive, now i can browse comfortably cause when it's going to redirect, it got blocked and redirected back, usually i have to manually pressing back buttons.
