Useless
total garbage. I got it to be able to sign petitions online (but cannot bear the horrific images with them) and I downloaded this useless app and still got every.single.image. in my face.
Works on page-by-page basis, you will always see the images first before shutting them, and you don't save on data usage. I can see few uses for this (one being image forced instructionals). The average person can easily find more suitable options.
The name should not be image blocker, it only hides image after loading. I can even see the image before it hides it automatically.
this is perfect for what i want it for. i have really bad anxiety when it comes to like looking at wikipedia pages of people i look up to and stuff because it usually shows photos of people which gives me panic attacks and stuff, and this extension helps a lot with that.
Does not hide images that appear when you scroll down. Also, really disappointed it blocks all images, and not just certain ones. This makes it pretty useless for me.
didn't work
Easily toggle the images (still load, but toggle to show or hide), I like it! display as blank when hide, I like it! hide the foreground images only, I like it! load/hide images in new page could be controlled, I like it! this is the only extension has these features! keep these please! PS. for those who complains this extension still load image, yes, this is for "hide/show" extension, go find "image blocker" extensions (there are tons), you came to a place wrongly, not the place is wrong.
Best image blocker! It's simple and effective. It can even detect the captchas!

Does not block all images. Also, does not have option to white list any domain. Just have two options, hide and show.

On facebook, it wont hide newly loaded pictures that you scroll down to. a lot of other sites have similar issues.
Exactly what I wanted. The fact that it's only on right click is just what I wanted too. The only thing that could make it better is an option to have the images be replaced by a thin empty frame (like what is shown in the image on this extension page), and/or by a generic image like some sort of pattern (like the Image Wizard Blocker does). Another that could be nice is if I could temporarily see one of the hidden images (by alt-hovering or something) Would give 5 stars with these features.

works sporadically. frequently I have to click "show images" multiple times for it to work. Sometimes the extension is not even active and available when a page first loads.
Reviews still load sometimes and then disappear. Rather than speeding up page loading time, it really slows it down.
Just plain brilliant! Great for work. (Have in mind this simply HIDES, doesn't prevent from downloading. Perfect for my purpose)
Still downloads image and shows it briefly before it's hidden. There are no bandwidth saving.
Seems to still download the images but doesn't show them. Thus, you block the images without gaining any performance.

the default option shows the images... have to click to remove images. Defeats the very purpose to not load images initially!
What I feel, the major requirement for any image blocker app should be to prevent the image itself from downloading. What is the point of downloading a 2M image, and then hiding it?
After the extension is enabled, any new image that is loaded (e.g. via ajax) won't get blocked. So you have to disable and re-enable for it to block any new image.
It works very well, and is useful when you do not want to have a webpage overcrowded with too many images. Will it also block pop-ups over time?
Seems like a pretty solid extension so far, does as advertised. Not to be to religious but to muslim's that want to avoid images on the internet I'd recommend this extension :).
