YouTube Star Rating is a social & communication chrome extension. it's a free extension and is featured in Social & Communication, it has 174 active users since released its first version, it earns an average rating of 4.57 from 7 rated user, last update is 474 days ago.
This extension was created to solve the problem with YouTube like/dislike rating system (especially since the dislike number was removed from YouTube). Our solution is a convenient star rating system in a form of a browser extension that allows users to rate YouTube videos from 1 to 5 stars and see their ratings. The difference between the rating systems is subtle, yet very important. • Star rating - the user will associate it with quality. If the user sees a video rated with 5 stars, they will think that it is of very good quality. • Like/dislike rating - the user will associate it with preference. If the user sees a video that received some "likes", they will think that some people prefer it, without necessarily associating it with quality. More information about the extension is available on our website https://youtubestarrating.com But this is just the beginning. As we grow we'll continue to upgrade the extension and bring you more features and a better user experience. We have some awesome ideas for the future!

Here are some suggestions. Add a new star, 0 stars. Icon will be a star with a slash. "1 of 5" star isn't completely 0% but 20%. Also, make total points of the review of the video and show how many people has voted which kind of star. Every user that votes will add 5 value to the maximum stars, canceling the provided stars will deduct the maximum stars by 5. Eg: 3.94(100 ratings) Display the details, "394 of 500 points" based on the rating users(100) of the video Then show how many has chosen a star 5* - 59 4* - 15 3* - 9 2* - 5 1* - 2 0* - 10
