I hardly see notifications. it's not really visible.
I wish it worked on non-pinned tabs as well.
The development/Canary version of chrome is broken with regards to tab notifiers for pinned tabs. This restores the functionality. Unfortunately it really struggles with Twitter, it keeps mangling the underlying icon and pulling in other ones. Not sure how to submit a bug report.
