it was great but how do you block things on the website tell me when ever I type something like youtube and press add then load it do not work

Added 5 websites, and it works flawlessly. However, would be excellent if they added a button to the extension, so that if you're on a website you want to block access to, you just open the extension window on that website, and press "block this site" or such, just to make bit a bit faster and easier. But other than that, it's great!

why did you copy popular SiteBlocker extension and published with your account ? This author has no connection with this extension, this is why he can't fix bugs in extension.

I think it is a good blocker even tho I am a new user I will find a way to use it to block inappropropriate content etc I want to avoid those websites I also hate those websites that direct you to inappropriate websites but this can save me now.

A must have extension! Hats off! I wish I could insert my customized picture to show when I try to browse to the blocked site. But still the extension is awesome as it provides a redirect functionality which can be used to show a picture with a URL. I need to upload an image somewhere on the net and then use the link to that image. That is a workaround. I wished I could do it directly by uploading the pic to the extension settings. Anyways... a great extension!

I've ran into few issues. One is I've set 2 white time configs. 8am-10am and 6pm-7:30pm. The first one 8-10am works but when its 6pm I not able to access my pages. I can get around this by making a new white time config and it lets me access the pages. Another slight issue is once its past say the 7:30am I found I can still access the websites after the white time config has passed. Example on YouTube I kept clicking on videos in the video feed and nothing happened. Only when I click on the refresh button does it block me. Overall I like the extension but some of these issues make it difficult to get the full use out of it.

Thank you creator! You did a wonderful job on your wonderful creation. I used to take all day on one page that I had to write for my job, that's how distracting some websites were. Thank you so much for this! But then it started blocking all websites INCLUDING the one I use for work. Had to delete.

1- Why there is a list for whitelist? 2- It's would be better if there is a "Block this site" button.

I. love. it. It actually works, there is no limit, it's FREE, you actually get to design the time, so much better than the one I used before. The only bad part is the password. It does NOTHING except ask you to enter it when you will add it. It will block me from adding a site when I want to if I forget. If you could add it to a delete function so i cannot easliy remove the sites from the block list, I will change my review to 5 stars because there is genuinely nothing wrong with this other than the problem I mentioned.

installed it. went to history. right clicked on the bad url. blocked it. nothing happened - url is not blocked

blocked popup ads, the ads still load the popup ad webpage tries to block it again says already blocked yet still loads the blocked webpage.

No fuss, no muss, this is the best one out there for sure. And you don't have to pay for anything.

I am using this to help me better myself as a weak Christian by blocking bad sites(porn, gore, etc.). That being said, this works and is pretty good. It is free as far as I know and seems to be legit With that out of the way, let us move on to the negatives, of which I only currently have 2: The Password Feature & The Redirect Feature. Password Issue: The password option is a good idea, but imo is executed poorly(unless I am using it poorly). I made a simple password to test it out, 123 was the code. I was hoping it would make me put in that code to remove a site from the blacklist or make any major settings changes. Instead it just makes me put in the code when I go ADD a site to the list instead of removing one and when trying to remove the code. I can still freely remove them from the list with one without giving it the code. This makes it a stupid idea to randomly type in a code since you will have pretty much no chance at putting in the correct sequence and since you cannot find it, no more new blocked sites for you. I was hoping I could make a code and forget it so I could not remove sites from the list. If you can fix this I would be thankful. Redirecting Site Issue: Normally if you try to go to a blocked site, it will fail to load, whitescreen, then to a webpage that has a funny little phrase. BUT......if you pick a site to redirect to(I chose BibleGateway.com), then it will load the blocked site for a second or 2. Long enough to where NSFW/NSFL content can be seen, even if only for a bit, like I seen a image for a NSFW leak through. Actually, I had a site leak through for like a solid 7-8 seconds, maybe 10. To be fair, the later one seemingly got jumbled up or something, so instead of getting hentai, I got an otaku site or something for those 7-8(maybe 10) seconds. Again, this so far has never happened to me when I have no redirect destination, only with a destination. Maybe BibleGateway.com is the only site that does it, I need to do more testing. I know this sounds nitpicky, but I could get triggered to watch the stuff I am wanting to block if it is shown even briefly, so if this happens often, I will be removing the redirect destination and leaving it on default. if you can get this fixed, I will be very happy!

While it does take a small amount of effort on the users part to get it to work and block sites from redirecting you to a unwanted site in a new tab. All you need to do is copy the unwanted URL but just the site and not the entire redirect. Then paste it into the dashboard's "ad site to block" click add, and save changes. Be sure to open "extra configs" below dashboard and make sure these features are on! Close blocked tabs automatically, Block sites subdomain, Block sites frames in other sites. Sites will try to redirect and open but they fail. I love it! <3

Open Authentication is great, but if I turn on the extension, then I am not able to use login via OAuth anymore. Thanks.

I love it, i had this goal to really focus on what is important, I love HT family shield, but I had to pay for it after its trial.
