Reviews of drivecast:
Didn't work at all - I made sure to use an MP4 as specified on the Chromecast docs for what formats are valid. Clicking on my MP4 didn't produce any error message either.
Does not connect to Chromecast, so I am unable ro say whether it actually is able to cast any media files
