Awesome! Having finally lost my temper with all the crud that appears whenever I do a search for something I'm interested in, never mind YouTube's famously rubbish suggestion algorithm, I did a quick search for a channel-blocking plugin. I saw this, downloaded it, it works a treat, job done. Many thanks! Suggestion for future development: Currently you need to type the channel name in to the plugin's block list. That's absolutely fine, it works, and I absolutely don't need the complication of 'extra features'. A 'Block Channel' button integrated in to YouTube's UI right next to the 'Subscribe' button would be even better.
