Its good, but too easy to turn off. I would recommend something like making a key that someone else makes or something.

No better way to listen to online classes without distractions.

SiteBlock lets me block unlimited websites unlike BlockSite where there's a limit. Doesn't look as pretty but works all the same.

Very simple, only what you need. It's perfect if you want just to block some sites without loading the cpu or the memory like other extensions.

If this app worked like the following five star ranking would be achieved: After adding a site to the list, upon attempting to access said site a okay attention box tells you it was blocked by site block and the tab is closed. :)

Very effective in terminating irritating and recurring pop-up ads and annoying sites that calls another redundant site ads. Works best with pop-up blocker and ad blocker. I really love this extension!!

i like it a lot.but it needs to modiify such i can't reach the blocked site for fixed time.now it is just blocking websites temporarilybcoz i can't control my feelings to get into addicted sites

A HUGE improvement would be to have a "block this site" button. Then, when an unwanted page appears, just one click to block the site. Now, you have to click the icon, copy/paste/trim the URL, clan an OK button then close the SiteBlock tab. All of this should be reduced to a single mouse click. It is FAR too much trouble to add a site to the block list. To be remotely useful, you need to a a single-click item to block the site in the active tab. Without that feature, it really isn't worth the trouble to use.

Glad it doesn't need permission to "read and change all my data" like other similar extensions, which seems excessive. Nice, simple interface.

The intervals do not work - always keeps sites blocked!

The best blocking extension I have used so far. Really good !! The only problem is that sometimes the substrings of the given regular expression is also blocked ! Would be great if that could be fixed. Also, I the donate button does not look to be working. Would like to thank for this great work !

I found this program to be perfect for my needs. As Chrome doesn't differentiate between work and home I use this program to block my personal sites at work and ones I don't want to see at home. One note, the Donate button doesn't work. Would otherwise gladly support the project.

I don't like this. I have no proper way of procrastinating now. Only thing I'd change is instead of having the "Blocked by SiteBlock extension" page, I'd like a page with an owl or something saying "go back to work!" :P

Huge help in breaking bad habits like trying to read every single link that appears on Reddit.... My only complaint costing the extension a star is that i would like to have separate time limits for different sites, like no Reddit, and only 10 minutes of Facebook etc.

While it did function well, it spammed me every few days asking to upgrade.

Does what is says it does, but sometimes blocks sites it shouldn't be. But it's nice that the extension shows initiative in stopping potential surf fluff. Good extension if pop up blocker just can't handle your browsing habits.

It won't let me unblock the site I blocked.

No easy way to disable/enable for when i need to study vs not. No easy way to add sites, have to manually type them in. Uninstalled.

I loved it at first, worked beautifully. Now it keeps the sites blocked ALL the time, without the unblock intervals I set up.

Hallelujah! Totally saved my finals week this year! I am a terrible procrastinator with bad self-control, especially when I have to study for boring classes.

If you could add an option so that the blocked site just comes up blank rather than telling you it is blocked that would be awesome.

excellent extension. it feels so good when i can finally get focused on my work and get things done. thank you thank you. what a life saver! my new year resolution is that i can, at some point, internalize this extension, so that even when i use a browser that does not have this extension installed, i will not turn to my list of procrastination sites. it's all about study/work habits, isn't it?

It didn't work. I tried to block a website over and over but nothing changed, and the stupid site I wanted to block still pops up every time I try to open Google Chrome. I followed the steps and everything, I don't know what's going wrong.

I needed to block a specific part of a website and this is the first one that actually did that!, It would be helpful to have it harder to change the settings but i cant complain. Works great!

this works very well. the draw back is there is no option for password protection. any one can easly disable/enable the settings without password

I don't know where else to give you a feedback from. I love the extension and the way it words: very easy to use. The only issue that I might want addressed is the message that appears when the blocked website is opened. It says "Blocked by siteblock extension". Is there any possible way to change it. May be just mention "Siteblock" but not mention the rest of the message i.e. site blocked by siteblock extension. My concern is when someone tries to open the website and sees this message, they'll probably start searching for information on siteblock extension which will definitely help them know how to unblock the website. So I was hoping if you could do something about it? By the way, I really love the way it works and is so simple.

I wish there was an ability to block sites certain times of the day - for example, I dedicate my time from 8am - 12 pm for work, and during those hours, I don' want to be looking into facebook. And then allow all sites from 12 pm till 1 pm during lunch break, then from 1 pm to 5 pm nothing but work. If this application allows me to do that, that will be perfect.

Stopped working a couple months ago. I uninstalled, reinstalled and still dead. Tried a few other google site blocking extensions and they're all dead too. Must be the ad sites cut google in on their profits.

Helps greatly at work. I set 25 minutes allowed for distracting sites every 3 hours. As others have said, the only feature that would be nice is different pools of websites with different time restrictions. That way, I could set very limited time for email/twitter/facebook and a little bit more time for actual informative sites.

Really like it! I would love it even more if a password for editing the would be placed! OR after you block a website you cannot unblock for a certain amount of time. Would absolutely love that.

If there was some way to have an overlay to tell you time left on a site then this would be the best. Still very good though, like the ability to block all but a few excepted sites

Thank you! I came across this because I remembered years ago a browser blocked sites and thought Google would have it. Not only good for procrastination, but for changing your habits and headspace. Excellent.
