Blocking usually works, but daily limits just reset to 0 once you exit the configuration page.
Very good extension
This is awesome - I spend way too much time on social media, and have been wanting to replace the time spent on social media with time spent reading articles/blogs that I find interesting. So far I've set a daily limit of 5 minutes on each of Facebook and Instagram, and after that it just redirects me to Feedly.com, a customizable blog aggregator. Looking forward to using this extension more.
