Stream web videos directly on your Chromecast from websites which have not added Chromecast support yet. This extension finds videos on the web sites you are browsing and allows you to play them on your Chromecast device. When it finds Chromecast comptible videos ( .webm, .mp4, .mkv etc), count of videos is shown over extension's menubar icon, which you can click to Select a video and extension will send it to your Chromecast device. I love I can do this: https://go2nts.com/playit/video/jeep.mp4 but I hate I can't do this: file://KONA/TestVideos/jeep.mp4 where KONA is my local server. I know that ChromeCast does see that server, but the castbuddy is forcing a "HTTPS:" in front of my "file" string - BUMMER!

Works like a Charm. I am using this to play my daughter's flinto class videos in my tv. I controls from my laptop chrome browser, simple.
