Invert the brightness of the web without changing the colors! Useful as a night mode to darken most bright web sites (like Google), or just for making the web soothing black instead of glaring white. Similar to the "High Contrast" or "Hacker Vision" extensions, but tries not to ruin images by blowing out the contrast or changing the colors.

Warning: because of the way this extension inverts the luminance of rendered pages, it may cause noticeable slowdowns for some users. If this happens, you may prefer another extension that uses custom CSS to set the default background and text color of web pages.

This is my second most used extension after uBlock Origin. It's indispensable for saving my eyes from strain, and great at combating websites that insist on eyebleed colors or blinding white everywhere. It has some failings: notably, it can often invert graphics even when set not to; some websites swap color schemes, meaning that you'll always have a couple pages not in your preferred color mode, and after modifying color schemes on a few websites, I find that opening the extension freezes Chrome for up to a full minute. Still, it's the best tool I've found for making websites comfortable to look at and read.

The best. Seriously, been using this for many years. To the dev: Reddit must have changed something recently, deluminate is not working there
